Recognition of the Teach for Romania model, by certifying the graduates of this programme as qualified primary teachers (part of ”A New Way for New Talents in Teaching” project, financed by the European Commission as part of ERASMUS+).
The impact of the programme on primary and secondary school Teach for Romania teachers. How the teachers have transformed themselves, how they will transform others and the world around them.
Alina Gavrilă, Deputy Head at School no. 5, Săcele, jud. Brașov talks about the realities faced by vulnerable communities and the relevance of a Teach for Romania teacher in challenging schools. Teach for Romania pupils and teachers will showcase on stage what the difference brought by Teach for Romania is.
The children become reporters and interact with guests.
Our existence and activity depends on the involvement of the private system. We honour and thank all our supporters, without which the work of Teach for Romania would not be possible.
Company Sponsors, donors and fundraisers will have a conversation with the children that are part of the program and each category will present what they bring in relation with Teach for Romania. Teach supporters will answer the most important questions: the ones addressed by the children who benefit from their support.
We will meet the new generation of primary and secondary Teach for Romania teachers.
We will present the Teach for Romania model, based on recruitment, selection, evaluation and support and how we support our trainee teachers.
We will find out from our special Teach for All guest speaker (Abigail Huston – Senior Director, Partner Engagement – Europe) how the world is being changed by the 50 000 Alumni community. We will witness the graduation ceremony of the first primary and secondary Teach for Romania teachers.
We will launch the Movement for Performance in Education
Thanks and warm wishes.
Primary and secondary teachers, pupils and the Teach for Romania team, alongside Teach supporters talk with the guests. Special photo sessions for long lasting memories.
We share our vision and what we are doing differently to make sure that the children that we work with will become adults that act, in society, based on values. These sessions are open to those who enroll in advance and they will be held in Romanian.
Here are the problem areas where Teach for Romania intervenes. On June 3rd, we discuss the impact of our work on each one of them.
